Association conducted medical camp during annual meeting on 25 th December, 2018. Max Vision Super Specialty Eye Hospital conducted "free eye testing" under the supervision of Dr. Upendar. They also offered Free Eye Check-up as part of celebrating their 20 years service. Clove Dental conducted "Free Dental testing" and Neuberg Labs conducted free diagnostic tests. PWA thanks all sponsors for the goodwill gesture shown by them.
"Health is wealth" is a saying known to all. Keeping this in mind Patanjali Yoga Samithi Bharat Swabhiman Trust founded by Ramdev Baba is offering free yoga classes to interested persons. Padmashali Welfare Association with the active cooperation of North East district branch of the trust is organizing yoga camps for members. Yoga Shikshak and Joint Secretary, PWA, Vanamala Shankar has given a yoga demonstration during annual meeting on 25th December, 2018. Shankar attended one month yoga camp under direct supervision of Ramdev Baba. Now about a dozen members are undergoing yoga training. Trust is conducting yoga camps to PWA members. Local members can utilize these services.
As a social gesture and to promote match making among the community people Sangham started Parinaya Vedika program. Initiative of Sri Kadiyala Laxminaryana was an inspiration to the Sangham to form Matrimonial Committee and conduct Parinaya Vedikas. Every year during annual get together meetings matrimonial committee members seek applications from parents to fix matches for their wards. Trend so far is encouraging. In the past committees headed by Sarva Sri M.P Das, Nakka Gangadhar, Dharna Mallaiah extended their services for the committee. Sri Darna Mallaiah, President, was instrumental in conducting Parinaya Vedikas.
